What year vehicles were the rear "Long" upper control arms in? What year vehicles were the rear "short" upper control arms in? I think but can not verify the long rear upper control arm ran for 1964 thru and included years 1967, and starting in 1968 GM went to the short arm and it ran 1968 thru 1972. Can anyone confirm that? Thanks and Happy Holidays.

Glenn,
That is correct. I have examples of both in my shop right now if you need a pic to compare the difference.

Thanks, no pictures needed. I just wanted to put the information on my site, but wanted to be sure it was correct first. Thanks Happy Holidays.

i thought it was just the opposite, but if not explains why their not fitting right (the ones i got in a kit) box was marked 68-72, but their actually longer(they use a locking plate for adjustment) and when i get them close to my stock ones, they hit the housing and wont go on
do you have a meas. c/c of the long ones-thanks
