Okay, what does the following machining operations involve and what do they due in regards for performance and lastly are they worth it?

Zero Deck the Block

Torque Plate Hone the Cylinder Walls

Zero decking would be taking half of your crank stroke, add your rod lenth and add your compression height of your piston this should give you zeor deck and depending on the quality of the parts your using this should get you with in a couple thousands of zero deck.

Plate honing is when bolt a plate on the deck of the block to duplicate the head being torqued on while you are honing the cylinders and we would also use the same gasket and either head bolts or studs as we have found on the 010 type blocks that different gaskets and hardware make a differance in distortion of the cylinders.
