I'm wanting to paint SS stripes on the hood of my '72 El Camino. Do those stencils sets sold by NPD work very well, How easy are they to work with. Can they removed cleanly after painting. Thanks for any comments.

Got mine from NPD, I think everyone sells about the same thing. They will help but there's still some effort involved. I watched mine being applied & painted and they came pretty clean but would suspect you may have a few minor touch-ups to make for a perfect edge.

You might search on "stripes" as alot has been written over the years.
