I Would Like To Put A Dash Pad On My 65 Chevelle Ss, It Never Had One, But My Car Is Done, Do I Have To Drill Holes In The Dash For Clips,someone Told Me I Have To Pull The Windsheild, To Drill Holes For The Pad , Is There Another Way Of Installing It.

I have a 1965 El Camino. I purchased a dash pad and shaved the bolts down, then applied silicone glue and used clamps to hold down while the silicone dried. Fits perfect and holds nice and tight.
