i had a bad day, and bought a big block anyways was wondering if there are any problems fitting 2 inch headers in a 66 with small block mounts.thanks

There will not be any difference in header fit between SB and BB engine/frame mounts.

I'm run #2213 Super Comp's in a BB 67 which should be the same fit. They have 2" primaries and fit very tight with SB mounts. They actually touched the body and frame at points. Recently I switched mounts to Moroso solids #62530 and gained some clearance because the engine sits higher.

thanks men for the reply.i have some solid mounts i may try them.i usually use the stock mounts with my small block but i have a plate made that keeps the motor from moving on the drivers side.a buddy gave me a set of 13/4 headers for a 69 camaro but they do not seem to fit and the ports on the heads are hogged out to 2 inches anyways ,i dought that they would ever seal.
