My grille and headlight bezel chrome is in really good shape the only problem I have is the black paint is faded and wearing off I hate to replace them with repo, NOS is just about impossible to find and when you do the price is unreasonable. Does any one have any suggestions on refinishing these parts

If it's a metal grill you could pull the grill off and strip the remaining paint off with paint stripper. Then mask it off and respray some semi gloss black on the grill. Let it dry and reinstall

I am not sure if you are going for an original look or not but I had my grille and bezels powdercoated. Grille black and bezels silver. Cost me about $100. I think it looks great and very unique. If you want pics, I can send them to you.
