My hood rubs the fender at the back edge when it's closing. With the hood down and the latch removed it fits fine and has a nice gap. Raising it up when it is almost all the way up it rubs the fender. Moving the fender out doesnt help, the hood just comes with it. Any ideas?
Thanks.

How does it fit on the other side? Are the gaps even all the way around? Does it travel straight? If it's not hood alignment it could be the hinge. Maybe it's just getting old and too tired to hold that big ol' heavy hood up there anymore. Kinda like how your dog sits when he's tired, sorta sideways. Just throwin' out some ideas. Good luck.

i just went thru this try loosening the radiator support andv moving it over one way or back the other way keep your hood shut so you can see the back gap opening and closing move it until both back gaps look even the try tighten everthing. i mess with mine for three days until the best i could get it and one side of the gap was a little wider than the other so off with the hood and i pushed the hindges over by hand a little bit then back on with the hood much better now. i bought new hinges for this problem until i realized to loosen the radiator support .

Well, the hinges were new 2 years ago, there is no binding or flexing that I can see. The hood is exactly even at the back edge with the fenders and the gap is even in the front with the fender extentions so I dont think the core support needs to move over. I'm thinking I need to take the hood off and try bending the hinges over a little.
Thanks.

These hinges bend very easy, usually if you have someone hold the hood open at about the 40% open position and give the hood a little shove it will bend the hinges to that side.

Good Idea but the hood is between the fenders and wont move over, Wait! Unless I adjust the rear of it high enough to clear the fenders. Yeah, I'll try that.
Thanks.
