Im in the process of installing new 70 door panels. My install kit came with the clip and screws. I figured out the clips, but where do the screws go?

At the bottom of the doors into the solid area.I think it's 4 per side.

I just finished installing the door panels on my 71. I wanted share a little trick with you on locating the holes in the door panel to match up with the holes in the bottom of the door. I took a longer screw with the same threads as the door and ground the head off and made a sharp point in it's place. I then pulled the bottom of the door panel out far enough and threaded the screw end into the door. Then I let the door panel rest against the sharp point that I made and "popped" the door panel on each side of the sharp point so that it pokes a hole thru the doore panel EXACTLY where you need it. Of course you need to make sure that your door panel is already mounted where you want it. You also need to make sure that the "tool" is screwed straight/plumb/level into the door. Mine had five screws on each side.

Another small piece of advice...be very careful when you put the panel on not to scratch the paint with the clips...it's easy sometimes to sorta nick the edge of the inner door with those blasted metal clips...

also, dont forget the water shields.
