There has been various ideas written about it-

If I remember right, the leading ideas was its Marcellas Wallace's Soul... Him buying it back

I could be wrong though...

they have interviewed everybody associated with the movie, and they all agree to never let the secret out.

i'm a big fan of these type of flicks, pulp fiction, kill bill, true romance, blue velvet, lost road, mulholland heights, naked lunch. i actually have some biker friends who refuse to watch anything i like anymore after i screened blue velvet for them, the claim to be scared for life.

What's interesting is that there's a reference to the very same 65 Chevelle John Travolta drives in Pulp Fiction in a short movie starring Tarantino called "4 Rooms".

I think that car belongs to Tarantino. I recall an article in a mag where he mentions it, also mentions that he dislikes it or doesnt care much about the car. I personally like some of his flicks but, as a person, would like to take a few of his teeth out with a nice tight elbow to the lips but I'd catch a hate crime case I suspect, being that he's black and all...... ;)

I agree! If you loved Pulp Fiction, you'll love Reservoir Dogs, QT directs both of them. And if you love those two, you'll definitely like Kill Bill 1&2, awesome flicks!!!!!

i have to disagree, res dogs, pulp fiction and true romance are three of my all time favorite movies but kill bill just didnt do it for me, once the girl/girl fight scene, where the daughter comes home, is over there was little that entertained me, maybe i just didnt get it or maybe because i didnt even finish watching it, it failed miserably for me, which was surprising since its maybe the only Q.T. film that does....anyone see "Hostel"? ...that movie is suitably bizzarre
i dont know about the chevelle but, the cadillac with the cop in the trunk in res dogs was actually michael madsens, since they were on a minimal budget tarantino was saying "if you have something at home, alright, and you think it will be good in the movie, ok, just bring it in"...the way he speaks annoys me, alright?

I seen Pulp Fiction in the theaters back then. Also caught 4 rooms too.

What ever happened to Tim Roth? I always liked him.

"I love your potbelley" (or pootbelley like she pronounces it.)

"Who's motorcycle is this?

"Its not a motorcycle baby, its a chopper"

"Whos chopper is this?"

another decent flick, is romeo is bleeding, now that is one messed up broad! and the "professional", just flat rocks, gary oldman is in both of these, and if you have any doubts about his acting ability, you have to see him as the rastafarian pimp in true romance...."is it white boy day?", "i don't think so"...

Jules: Looks like we caught you boys at breakfast- What're you having?

Bret: hamburgers

Jules: HAMBURGERS! The cornerstone of any nutricious breakfast. What kind?

Bret: CheChe..cheese burgers

Jules: nah... Where'd you get em. Macdonalds, Wendys....

Bret: Big kahuna Burger

Jules: Big kahuna Burger? Thats the hawaiian burger joint. I aint never had one, mind it I try some of yours?

Bret: Go right ahead

Jules: MMMMMMM. That is a TASTY burger. Hey Vincent- Ever had a big Kahuna Burger, they're Real Tasty

Vincent: I aint hungry

Jules: Well, if you like burgers, give em a try sometime. me, i can't normally get em, because my girls a vegitarian, which pretty much makes me a vegitarian, but i do appreciate a good burger.

:D

I have a terrible memory, but for some reason, my mind latches onto movie dialogs and stores them indefinitely to be quoted back at random intervals...

To this day, I can't stomach the scene in the basement of the Pawn Shop!!

Well, do you like "Sling Blade" by Billie Bob Thornton??

It's about as real a movie I've ever watched! it and "Heavens Prisoners"!!

To me that is..

Don't they cut off Tarantino's finger at the end of four rooms?

I love the lines:

The whole clean up scene where the black kid (Phil Lamar later to be on Mad TV by the way) got shot in the face and they had to clean it up, was pretty good. Harvey Kietel was good in that scene too.

There's a passage I got memorized. Ezekiel 25:17. The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he who, in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of the darkness. For he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know I am the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon you. I been sayin' that **** for years. And if you ever heard it, it meant your ass. I never really questioned what it meant. I thought it was just a cold-blooded thing to say to a mother****er before you popped a cap in his ass. But I saw some **** this mornin' made me think twice. Now I'm thinkin': it could mean you're the evil man. And I'm the righteous man. And Mr. 9mm here, he's the shepherd protecting my righteous ass in the valley of darkness. Or it could be you're the righteous man and I'm the shepherd and it's the world that's evil and selfish. I'd like that. But that **** ain't the truth. The truth is you're the weak. And I'm the tyranny of evil men. But I'm tryin', Ringo. I'm tryin' real hard to be a shepherd.

The think in the brief case is called a McGriffin.. it's a plot device that was invented by Alfred Hitchcock. The most famose example of this it the Malteese Falcon.

It a item with something inside that everyone wants. What's inside is not important. Only that it drives the plot along.

I love looking at the trailers and commentaries for these two movies. Tons of behind the scenes info. The funniest is Michael Madsen talking about how they prepared for the "cop in the trunk" scene. Next time you watch RDogs, notice the soda cup in his hand. That wasn't in the script. Hillarious story.

The actor who played the cop can't get work now because he's know in Hollywood as "the cop who got his ear cut-off".

Who "keyed" Vince's Malibu? That scene was deleted but you can watch it.

RDogs was Tarrantinos first film. Made for less than one million. Many of the actors were from the crew etc. It's fun to watch the clips as they show who did what.

The building where most of it was filmed was demolished recently.

"It doesn't matter what you say. I've heard it all before. I'm still gonna torture you anyway." was filmed with three cameras rolling and you can see the other two versions. In the end, he decided that using your imagination was much more powerful than watching a fake ear get cut-off so they went with the pan-away version.

Steve Buschemi is the waiter, Buddy Holly. He was filming Fargo (or something) at the time and couldn't be in it. But he came to watch the dance scene shoot.

Tarrantino purposely made them shoot the "twist" scene over-and-over because everyone had gathered to watch Travolta dance that day, even tho they got it on the first take.

I always wanted to go have dinner at "Jack Rabbit Slim's" until I found out, it's not a real place. Bummer. But I have a copy of the menu.

All I want for Christmas is a leather wallet that has "Bad Mother F****r" on it......with a Gift Certificate from Summit inside.

"Buddy!...I'm gonna shoot you in the face if you don't put your hands on the dash!"

Esmerelda Villalobos. The way she says "Booch". OMG!!

I wonder if the people in Amsterdam think we're nuts because we put ketchup on our fries?

"So I have to stab her three times?"

these three tomatoes are walking along....papa tomato, mama tomato and baby tomato. baby tomato keeps lagging behind and papa tomato gets angry. goes back and squishes him...says "ketchup!".

Madonna got P.O.'d at Tarrantino because now everyone thinks that what "Like a Virgin" is about.

"I don't know...alot."

That whole argument about tipping makes you think, doesn't it.

Never watch either of these movies for the first time with me in the room...

Four Rooms had Tim Roth as a Bellman.

One room was Tarrentino and Willis I think, amongst others, in a cocktail party. I forget the bet, but I remember the purse (finger).

Another room had Madonna and some other bimbos as witches brewing a love potion, I think.

Then there was the cheating wife, abusive husband charade.

Finally, a party ordering booze from the switchboard operater/bellman Roth. The only thing that really comes to mind is the puking part out the upper floor bathroom window with Roth's head sticking out a lower window.

On an entirely different note. I found "Vanishing Point" in the Wal-Mart $5 DVD bin the other night. BoooYah
