My 70SS is headed to the body shop on Monday for a left front fender and driver door collison repair. The previous owner added black stipes and the vinyl top. I will removing the vinyl top and painting the top black. The car had a white painted top from the factory.
My question is in regards to replaceing the door and roof rail weather strips. How many components compose everything I need to do the job 110% complete? Is it just 2 roof rail strips and 2 door strips. I'll also replace the quarter window vertical strips as well.
Are there any other bumpers, stops, or details that I need to address. I'll make a point of making sure that none of the strikers, door jam light switch, etc are not painted body color.
Should the door hinges be body color or something else?
