It says it sold but thats not to say it actually sold for that much though.

"professionally built, professionally shortened."

There are actually professional shops that actually do that kind of work? I know beauty is in the eye of the beholder but I see nothing but a waiste of someones time shortening one of those cars (or any car that way). I look at it and think, the only time well spent on anything on that car is the 468. Just not my thing I guess.

I think whoever built that consulted a few bottles of beer for direction. I've seen that done to a '55 Chevy four door, and it worked a lot better.

Several reactions:

It is terrible to cut up any car.
Saw a 57 Chevy done this way.
Don't believe beer alone would cause someone to do this - must be stronger drugs involved.
What a waste of time.

I saw a 57 chevy wagon done like this, kinda cool looking in a wierd way, I think it was in thatcher arizona. It looked like its been sitting and theres a big not for sale sign on it. JIm

I personally don't understand why it was shortened?

I actually like that body style, and with a 468 and gears it would have been a cool ride the "unshortened" length.
