[B][/B THAT SHOW JUST RUBS ME THE WRONG WAY. Heres these guys are with their big bad cars. oh we built it over night just for this show. oh its a 12 sec car. but it can do 10's Its a show where the biggest liar can win. oh he moved his arm oh he blinked. bunch of B/S. Either race your car heads up or bracket race it at the strip. or cancel the show. needs a different format.

Yes, I get annoyed also with all the BS on that show but on the other hand I like seeing your typical street/strip cars race. I really think they could improve the show by doing two things...1st I would weed out all the crappy cars that run bad and break down. 2nd I would install a camera on the pedals and whoever lifts automatically loses the round (unless they lift for saftey reasons of course).

P.S. Beats watching the Home & Garden channel with the wife!

At first I thought it was fake, then three of my buddies have been on the show, and I was there personally in the pits with two of my friends for Pinks All Out.

I dont care for Rich's way of trying to control, he wants a good show, but we are talking about LOTS of money in these cars by somebody else, he should simmer a bit, let the guys deal they way they want and then it would be better.

They need to go back to the original format. 2 guys racing for thier cars & Rich mediating. Everyone has a big stupid passe now & it is getting very old. Keep all those idiots back near the car or something.
Also, the bottom line now is if the faster car doesn't break, it wins. They need to police who lines up with who. It's just not fair for a couple of those guys. After the first "race" you might as well give them the keys to the slower car. It's also usually these speed shop guys that own multiple cars. maybe normal people just arent bold enough after the first couple episodes.
Remember the 2 guys with street bikes? One with an old red Suzuki or something & the other with a Harley V-Rod. That was awesome. It should be like that again.

I think it's hillarious to watch two morons bash and badmouth each other, argue, and I think you're pretty dumb if you think you have to get on the show just to prove yourself. The show itself is not fair.

Only a fool would put the title to his car on the line for a race. With all of the hard work, blood, sweat and tears put into these cars, not to mention the money, I'd never risk mine for a race. The thought of it seems ludicrous. Idiotic.

The one where the 2 brothers raced was kinda pathetic. They'll never feel the same about each other. One will harbor animosity and the other will feel guilty.

I think the show is rediculous.
1/2 hr filled with hotheads pushing their chests out and yelling at each other.

I don't watch it.

Stifle the talking head and it'd be worth watching.

I watched one episode when it first started and caught parts of a few shows in later seasons to see if it may have improved. Nope, still cant stand to watch that show and havent watched it since. Just a bunch of crying, whining and bickering back and fourth.

Same here. Lose the host and it might be better.

Well for the most part I do not like the host or the whiners he gets on there, but I will say I met the Tosto Father and his boys on another forum.
They were the brothers that pitted the 99 camaro against the 68 firebird and these guys are class all the way, that is how it should go with every race, no sandbaggers, whiners etc.

Also, pinks All Out is a good program, but if the host goes back to his whiner format I will rarely watch unless the Tosto boys are on again.

I hate the format they've used, but I think Pinks All Out has a chance. We'll see.

I guess I am the odd man out here, but I like the show. I just love racing so I guess I just put up with all the BS on the show. It is def not the worst show on TV these days. I don't care for the dishonesty when it comes to sandbagging, I like the "All out" format best.

At first I thought; "Not another Goofy reality show!" I also got this preconceived notion the host was Kind-of-Weird. I like the way he handles himself and the negotiations. A lot pilot series have a bumpy start, but
After watching a few episodes I now found myself surfing for the nest time slot. Now I'm like a June-Bug attracted to a porch light. Just can't stay away from it.

I believe Pinks has a chance also.

I don't!
I upset enough people with my opinions, so we'll just leave it at that.

I like it. Sometimes the game playing gets on my nerves. It is still better than watching the " Lets Trade Houses / Wives You Paint my House I'll Paint Yours" shows

Me, I would rather watch paint dry than all the whining and bitc$ing that goes on. And what is up with cutting to a commercial as soon as they launch?? That made me turn the channel as soon as I watched the first race.
Two words...Pinks Stinks

Before we had Speed I thought I'd really like the show. Not so much.Maybe one out of the 4+/- they air each month is o.k.,but still too much lying, unfair advantages and whiney people. The smallblockposse episode would have been real good if the bickering could have been edited out.Rich comes across as a tool on t.v.

All Out is a lot better program than the other,I think.

Lets see:

Sounds of motors revving real high, rock and roll music and an occasional hottie or two...what's not to like?

I put up with all the sandbagging crap because it's either this or the Food Network:thumbsup:

Keep the sandbagging, bickering, whining, etc. Just lose the "run for titles" format. That's just crap.

Put up some serious cash winner take all. Even better, let the contestants wager their own cash and sidebets and just film the results. If guys aren't afraid to lose their car, they should have no trouble betting the cash value.

Let the contestants negotiate staging, break, clear, lengths, etc. just like goes on every weekend on the street. Stip for what you can see.

Then it would be just like watching streetracing but not on the street. I think that would be great TV. I'd probably give it a try with something myself if that was the format.

The real bad dogs would jump at it and you'd end up having match races set up from all parts of the country. Most fast guys know who the other real fast guys are.

And what is up with cutting to a commercial as soon as they launch??

It's a way of keeping you tuned in to watch thru the commercials and to the next segment of the film.

Seriously....when they launch chances are you're interested to want to see who wins the race. So for most they'll stay tuned, watch the commercials, then see the rest. Unless you tape record the show, then you have the option of fast fowarding thru the commercials.

Besides they did that i think for the first season only, I haven't seen them do that at all on the 2nd season.

Simple ways to fix this show.

1. Use the freaking christmas tree, get rid of the bald idiot and his hand drop.
2. Forget lengths, length is stupid, it can put a car running a short track at a real disavantage as it changes how that car performs as it may never actually hit it's real power curve on a shorter track. Use timing on the lights instead of lengths. Not to mention they are out of any groove in the track being way out in front of the starting line.
3. Require each driver to make 2 passes, the fastest pass is their baseline. If they run more than 0.2 faster than their baseline they lose their ride pure and simple.

This gets rid of any sandbagging. Makes for actual fair races.

My way you should never have a race determined by more than a car length or so unless the driver makes an error or the car breaks.

The original PINKS show is okay with some races better than others, but the new all out is pretty cool in my opinion.

I wish Speed would get rid of that stupid Unique Whips show. I can't stand it and they play it all the time!!

All you'd have then is a televised bracket race. I personally wouldn't waste the electricity to turn on the TV to watch a bracket race.

That's coming from someone who has bracket raced competitively for the last 20 years. Bracket racing is boring to watch.
I wouldn't walk to the end of my driveway (very short) to watch a bracket race.:noway:

I agree with Dewayne...they should get rid of the idiot and use a christmas tree and a bracket race format. Also, the SHOW should put up the prize money. That would put a stop to the sandbagging and BS and we'd all still watch because bracket racing with 10-12 second cars isn't shown anywhere else on TV.
