Guys I have a complete 70 SS dash with all gauges. I want to sell it and use a covans in a non SS dash .

I figured I would do this to save the original SS dash and make some of my money back this way .

Does anyone know what I might have to do to do this?

any particular dash I can look for to replace this one? will my dash pad still fit ? what about ac controls?

You can use a covan's dash insert on a non SS dash just tell them what dash you have when you place your order . The dash pad's are the same for SS or non SS. Let me know what you want for your SS dash and guages. Ihave a 72 non SSdash with AC and the 70 non SS dash that is in my car now also with AC.

i would like an ss dash, but i am thinking i will cut up my sweeper, and put after market in it. what is up with covan? it seems like alot of money. i really would lke to know.

covan has good products with a great custom look, but if ur thinking of going with them i would suggest going with the pre-cut dash and buy the gauges urself if u have the time/knowledge to wire it urself. the full dash kit is trouble free and plugs right in if u want to spend the money.
