what is a 1969 chevelle worth. The front clip has been removed but is in good shape and is included. The quarters and doors are very solid with very little rust. The floors and trunk are solid and have very little rust. No interior engine or tranny. Origonally a 4 speed car still has pedals and hole in floor. Hes asking $1500 for it is this a good price or should i try to talk him down to $1000.

Hes trying to tell me its an SS but if it is someone did a really nice job of cloning a malibu. NO ss emblem in dash, grill, door panels, or steering wheel. He has no build sheet. Oh ya he tryed to tell me that because it has factory digital gauges its an SS :noway: I was like. ya shure there just idiot lights moron. but the body is very good the front clip is all dissasyembeled. Hes also selling a 70 camaro in equal shape w/ interior and tranny for $1500 cannot decide wich one to buy.

If it doesn't have a 12 bolt, it's not an SS. Also look for a 3/8" fuel line, bolted steering column coupler, factory disc brakes (make sure the prop valve is mounted under themaster cylinder).

Think I may buy something else I know of a 71 SS 454 w/ 4 speed that I can get rather cheap if i can convince the guy to sell maybe i should try that instead.

I go through Williamstown every day, I was over there at the Autozone on the Black Horse Pike this afternoon to get a case of oil actually. Where are they located?

Not this year, I took it to Chevellabration in Tennessee. The only leg of the Power Tour I was on last year was the date it came to the Grand Ol' Opry in Nashville because I was already down there for Chevellabration last year. Power Tour is most definitly worth doing at least once if you can swing it. The caliber or the cars that attend is phenomenal.

I wanted to go this year because they were stopping in NJ and PA but I had finals all that week so I wasnt able to go. :(
