I am thinking of purchasing a fiberglass stingray hood from VFN Fiberglass that this company makes for my "68 Chevelle. Does anyone have any information on how well the hoods fit, the quality and the functionality of the hood? Do you get the air in from the back like a cowl hood or are they open from the front?

The VFN Stinger hood is pretty nice. Fit is good, but like any fiberglass hood, it needs to be fit to the car before painting. I believe you can cut the hood for front or rear air intake. You may also have to use 69 hood hinges on your 68 Chevelle as the bolt pattern is different.
