Rick Loncosky Apr 9th, 99, 4:34 PM I have an Autometer tach mounted on the steering column. When I turn on the lights the tach goes dead. It work fine last year. I changed engines last week and had to unhook MSD and all but I thought I got it all plugged back in right. I run the white wire to a toggle switch then to the acc. terminal on the fuse block on my car BillK Apr 9th, 99, 7:00 PM Rick, The biggest problem, according to Autometer, with tach installations, is the lack of a good ground. Autometer recommends grounding the tach to the intake manifold. The old sheet metal screw in the firewall is a no-no.
