I lived about 8 miles maybe 12 from 5 flags speedway and you would hear those cars all day & night long every weekend.

I smell beer brewing, tires frying, and good times around the corner.

Thats cool you will have a track close by. The closest 1/4 mile drag strip to me is a entire 3 minute drive from home. Every time anything goes down the track, we here it here, I love it.

Yes, plenty of work (check your email, I need an opinion on a DA im looking at) and i am digging in hardcore this next weekend. Stripping should be completed very soon then off comes the body, frame gets torn down and goes out for straightening and sandblasting.

Its about a 30 minute ride, give or take 10. Yes, closer than Sac for sure.

Did they give any indication about when it would be complete? I didn't see it in the article.

About how far is that from the San Fernando Valley?
Any idea on the elevation?

Craig, waz up! Great news,that track will be 35 min. from us (pulling a trailer).
18 months will give Anthony time to get his 496 built,he has to pace himself as he now has a Wife and a new baby girl! For Christmas he got some H-Beam Rods and a Scat Crank is on its way I will probably help him with getting his parts as long as I get a few runs in.

Must be nice!! The nearest track for me is at least a 2hr drive. When I lived in NC, the track was 20 min max and there were at least 2 stations that sold race gas on the way!!
