How much longer is the 70-72 quarter window chrome than the edge of the window glass supposed to be? On my windows, the chrome is 3/8" longer than the glass at the bottom. I bought new rubber seals for the chrome but the seal seems to short. The rubber seals are the same length as the window glass edge.

I have 69 and that looks about what mine looks like....

I just did these on mine, the chrome was a little longer then the window as well, I bought my rubber seals from Ground Up and they were the correct size. Maybe you have the wrong size seals? Not sure - try another pair from another supplier, sometimes that does make a differnce.
