I was removing the pistons from my son's 350, and I dropped one on the floor. A little piece broke off right under the wrist pin. Can I just replace the piston? I don't want to buy all new pistons. I'm trying to do a budget build here.

sure the only trick is figuring out what brand it is ... and ordering one
have the shop weigh the old one including the broken off piece then make sure the new one is of equal weight ... & your home free

I can think of several choice epithets I would have uttered if I had done that :)

My son said "At least you didn't cry" Referencing building my 383 when he dropped one of my forged aluminum pistons on the ground. :D
