I am replacing my inner rockers. What to do with the inside of the rocker? It's pretty accessable right now. POR 15? Rattle Can Primer? What happens when you weld around this stuff? Weld through primer (Rattle Can). What has anybody else done? Any opinions?

How do the rockers look inside? Your best bet would be to remove any corrosion if possible. POR15 will burn away from your weld areas. If you like using the POR keep it about an inch away from the weld areas and use 3M weldable primer on the weld areas. Reguardless of what you do to the inside before assembly be sure to coat it well with an anti corrosion coating after it is painted. 3M's rustfighter works OK for this providing you have access holes for the spray wand.

Outer rockers look pretty good inside. Inners were shot. Where do you recommend access holes? Rattle can weld through should be fine if I'm coating again through access holes>
