I found what might be a part number, or a portion of one on the front springs when I pulled them out. Can anyone tell me where I might find out the specs for this spring? I have searched a few sites but no luck. I dont think they are the originals. 388162 GG was on what was left of the sticker that was buried under grease and road grime.

It could be a CG. What was left on the sticker is hard to read.

By the way I was just checking out the pictures of your car, awesome job. With that cowl plenum did you have to remove your heater or you chose to?

If the springs have a GM sticker then pbly the originals going from memory CG is the std front spring in a BB coupe car optional F41 was different ....if you want I can confirm
Cowl Plenum yes you may see some cars with a CP and a heater but the original intent was to use on heater delete cars as the fumes from the carb do go back into the plenum and if you had a heater they would be sucked into the heater .......... even with the fresh air vent open on the pass side and low speed driving you get carb fumes in the car .........sound is awesome though :)
