I'm restoring my 69 chevelle conv. I'm replacing all the sheet metal including trunk pans. I need to replace both outer rear wheel housings. I'm striking out trying to find them reproduction or used. Does anyone know where to get these? I purchased sedan wheel housings, but not to excited to piece them in until all avenues are exhausted. Any info is appreciated ..... Tom

Hey Tom,I too went through that but took a pair of after markets and plasma cut them about 3 inches above the lip and inside the wheel house with a 1 in over lap.Mine only had cancer about 1/2 to 3/4 an inch up and about 3 inches in lenghth over the wheelwell but the press folds matched up perfect and the N.O.S. quarters lined up and welded in perfect.Just had to take alittle time to trim them up.Also with the quarters I followed the body line and welded them w/spot welds all the way down the top of the trunk deck and along the top of the curve on the sides where the sail panels go and down the door opening to make a solid panel to panel weld with very little filler.I'm VERY pleased with the outcome.
