I've got a 72 that was originally blue (wht stripes) SS. I have since taken it down and put silver w/ blk stripes on it. The original white interior looks okay but I think black would look much better. It's getting worn enough that I'm about ready to change it out. The dash, carpet, consol and headliner are already black. How much should I expect to pay for covers and door panels and where can I get the best quality. It's not a show winning car, but I would like as close to original as financially possible. Also, can I just paint the seat backs.

I wouldn't paint any plastic that is white...I would wrap it up and put it in the attic and then go buy some new stuff...then recover the seats and/or whatever however you want them and do whatever else to the interior...you can always put it back white if you ever intend to sell...heck by then you might be tired of black and want to put it back white...see my point??? Whatever makes you happy buddy...wish I had your problem...alas I have a Honda...*embarrased*
