Hi, i'm planning on going to the st.ignace car again (last year was the first time since i was like 12 now 20). I'm hoping i'll have my 62 Chevy II done by then and drive it up. I'll go whether or not it's finished. Just wondering if anyone else was thinking about going up.

Oh yeah guys, We have a show here in Michigan that has grown to unreal proportions. It is held in sept in Frankenmuth Mi. I have a buddy that was one of the founding members of Country Street Machines. (Mopar guy boooo) They put this on and donate all proceeds to charities! Its a two day event with thousands of cars and a huge party! Very well run, beutiful town, and great people. I beleive it is the best in Mi. You guys would have a great time if you can make it. Bill

I have been goin to St. Ignace for 18 years in a row. And I am only 21 I will be there agian with my White 69 Chevelle and will be with my little group of cars (66 mustang convrt., 75 trans am, 69 Judge GTO) We will be doing the Thursday night cruise and parade on friday along with the show on sat. I only hope the the number of cars go up like they were back in the day. I think still the friday parade makes the show a weekend event agian then it was when it was on thursday for the past 3-4 years. Wheres everyone staying or planning on???

I'll be there with my blue 66 post car. A friend may have his 72 done by then also. We stay at the Holiday Inn.

We also used to stay at the holiday inn, the one on the top of the hill by where you'd get off the freeway. Not looking so good for having the Chevy II done by the end of June. I'll probably drive up in my 88 Mazda B2200 that I'm swapping in a 350 buick and a 3 speed manual for now, but by the time of the show i should have a A-833 od 4 speed in. I just noticed that pinks all out is coming to Milan the same weekend of the show. Sucks cause if the truck ran within the times they wanted i was going to try and enter. Anyway i'm also trying to push my dad in finishing up his 68 corvette by that time. He just finished painting the engine compartment, the front end is ready to be reassembled and then we need to start on the rear. The rear should go alot quicker, were just cleaning and reassembling with prothane bushings.

I second the opinion on the Frankenmuth show. i was in the first show they had at a church. had about a hundred cars first year. now thay have 2500. the friday night deal when they close down the main Hwy. through town & everbody parks on the road is a blast. last year they had some vintage top fueler's fire up & run down the street!!. i believe they have a web site try looking under Frankenmuth Auto Fest. show is first weekend after labor day 7 we usually have very nice weather
