Size and shape, I think your ok. I have sat in a pair that where swapped into a 1972 Bronco. But for it there is no back seat. What I mean is, do the seats have the "fold and slide" mechanism for rear seat acccess? My Procar seats do not. I have to flip it and then pull the other knob to slide it. No biggy becuase not many people sit in the back of my car... Their too scared to. ;)
The finish is the problem. If it's that fuzzy, kinda-like-swade, that would look bad in my opinion. The rest of the enterior, on my car, has a smooth vinyl like look to it. your 65 will have a more painted metal and chrome finish to it, which will also not lend itself well to a fuzzy kind of seat.
That's just me. If you look the form/fit and comfort, put them in and drive it! Then, come summer time you can consider the cost to have to re-appolstered.

If you have old school Olds buckets...you may be able to reupholster them with some Chevelle seat covers...send me a pic and I'll tell you for sure...Seats that I think are super cool in such cars are Recaro's which a guy can find in old BMW's and Porsche cars...you can find them in salvages in fact I have seen a pair online used for $100 which is a deal...you can have them recovered in Madrid grain vinyl and wallah you have an immensly superior and way more handsome set of buckets...or you can buy them predone for around $800...I have a set that need to be recovered somebody might be able to talk me outta of...
Alas...the Fiero seats would do to particulary if you already have them...they could be redone in the Madrid grain vinyl as well and would look super cool....

fiero seats will work. they are great to work with. go to mr. mike he can give you what you need. they have a great product.the brackets(sliders) are to short. you can swap them out for cavalier sliders, or just add spacers(washers). just so you know they do fold forwared, but do not slide on the rails. if you get 85 you get 2 speakers in each head rest. these are the seats i want to use in mine. 2 up front, 2 in the rear, and ditch the bench back there.
