I have gotten some info from the Tire Database, but I just want to be sure
about something. I am restoring a `71 SS454 Coupe and will be using the
stock 15X7 5-spoke SS wheels. I would like to mount 255/60/15 tires on these wheels. Will this wide of a tire mount and look OK on these 7-inch wheels?
I have checked and clearance should not be a problem front or rear.

You want 60's on the front?

I have run 265/50 15 on 15X7 rims for years... Not problem (and within the tire manufacturers "recommended" wheel width range)...

And with the 60-series' taller sidewall, should be easier...


Oops... I am not sure on whether THOSE rims will work, due to back spacing, etc... Sorry...
