I couldn't resist. :D It's a 1:6 scale Revell die-cast model kit of the 427 L-89.

So far they have a SBC street rod 350, a fuelie Vette 327, an LT-1 Camaro SBC, a Ford 427 cammer BB, a Dodge race hemi, a street hemi, and now the big block Chevy. There are also a couple of blown race engine kits, but I haven't come across them yet. I got three of each of the rest though. :D They are $20 at Wallyworld.

I keep seeing those and I'm soooooo tempted, but those who know me well will say I can't keep anything original. It'd be a shame to modify such a nice original engine like that!;)

that's cheap because they are advertising the same products on racingjunk for 30.

I was just looking those over at the hobby shop yesterday. They wanted $35 for them. I've gotta go check Wallyworld now. They had all of them except the BBC and the street hemi at the hobby shop. How's the quality? The boxes are a couple pounds, so I'd expect some real steel parts in there.

Im more of a hot rodder type of guy. I can say one thing. They all look very nice in person. I like the street rod 350. Hopefully they will do a street rod big block too.

The blown Hemi looks pretty sweet too.

That BB looks like an L-71 427, 435 hp with L-89 aluminum head option.

Does Velveeta go with wine? I prefer the deli cheeses with long, hard to remember names.
