Good morning eveyone!!

I'm new here and I'm thinking of repainting my Chevelle. It's orginal color was Astro Blue and I was wondering if anyone has any good color shots of the 70 SS in this color with or without black stripes. Currently the car is red/black. Not sure of what to do and any help would be appreciated!!

IMO there is only one color to paint it, and that is astro blue. http://www.chevelles.com/forum/smile.gif There are more red ones than the factory ever build. IMO, there are not to many Astro Blue Chevelles out there, and if yours came from the factory like that and you like the color then GO FOR IT. Personaly, the Astro Blue with black stripes and Fathom Blue with white strips are my favorite.

I have an Astro Blue 70SS with black stripes/interior right in your back yard. Astro Blue is a great looking color. I would also go with the black stripes, black interior and painted top.

Mine is Astro Blue with black stripes as well. It originaly had a white painted top and then some dummy put a black vinyl top on it. You can see pics at: http://photos.yahoo.com/jagarang
The album labeled Chevelle is before collision. Unless you want a broken heart like mine stay away for the other album or collision damage.

Sorry to see it was in an accident, hope you got the right guy to fix it!! The price we pay for driving our cars!! I have a Firehawk that has been hit more times than I'd like to count!!

I think I just might take you up on the offer to see your car. It's sweet, I know that!! I'll have to meet you at a cruise night or something once I get some time.

I might have Rhodes Custom Autworks repaint my car if I do it. It was done in Red but the guys who did it didn't do to good of a job. They are right in your area and seem to do a pretty good job!! Let me know what you think and we'll go from there.

I actually talked to Rhodes myself for some quarterpanel and paint work I think I need done. They have done some pretty cool stuff according to the owner and they have a decent website with some pics. Send me an email if you want to discuss offline sometime and good luck on your car if I don't talk to you........
