: rusty inner door skins.......

When I removed the interior I noticed that one of my doors has a lot of surface rust on the inner door skin. The thick coating (about 1/3 from the bottom) was laying in pieces in the bottom. I really don't want to remove the door skin and sand the inner.

I have Corrless for the frame, but that will be sanded before applying.

Should I just spray that in their as a stabilizer. Or is that stuff like an "old west elixer" on top of rust.

Most cars with some years on them will have surface rust in this location. Where you need to be concerned is usually around the bottom and corners or where ever dirt and moisture collect. Also you can apply your rust treatment without sanding, however you should treat the area first. Eastwood and POR sell rust stablizers-metal etchers. I myself am rust paranoid and probably go way overboard with the POR 15 use.
