I have a 69 chevelle s/s. Problem is my paint code just has the letter "B"- no numbers. What color should this car be?
I sure could use some help on this . And yes this is the original plate that came with the car.Car was some shade of blue not sure, but is now black.

The "B" may be for black vinyl top. I have seen paint codes of -- (which was basically assy plant paint delete and the receiving dealership would shoot a special paint) but never just a code for a vinyl top. Maybe someone else has seen this before.

for a 68..It is midnight teal metallic.
Maybe yours was a midyear car..
