Just wanna some idea how to troubleshoot this problem:

UNMOUNTABLE_BOOT_VOLUME

Stop trying to mount your computer.... ;)

I have to ask, have you changed anything recently?

Thanx much for the reply..

Actually it happens after i'm not shutting down my pc properly coz normally i just press the power button when i want to shut it down. i've follow the method that you suggest but it doesn't boot from cd-rom even i press the f1 key to enter the menu..plz reply me soon. thank you very much..:)

If it doesn't boot from CD it may be that you don't have that option enabled in your BIOS...

thanx much for ur reply...

when i press the f1 key it come out with the Boot menu then i choose the 'CD-ROM' option but still display the blue screen and restart again..is it something wrong with my installation disk?...what's ur suggestion on this matter?

Usually if it is able to boot from the CD you will get a message like "Press any key to boot from CD" (if my memory is working). If you're not seeing this, your CD might not be bootable. Is it a copy of another installation CD?
