Martin,
I would have sent this via email but it wouldnt send so am doing it here.

I got the door handle section on saturday, looks good. Held it up to the velle, side profile looks like a prefect match. Hopefully that style of handle will look alright on the car?!

If you come across the other side let me know. I sure do appreciate your time cutting it out for me, hell even remembering that I asked about the handles. You da MAN graemlins/thumbsup.gif Thanks again and have a good one...Eric

Eric, the way we go through late models it shouldn't be too long before I get the right side. smile.gif

Can you use a front bumper for a 2004 Toyota Matrix, those we have a few dozen. smile.gif

Careful there Martin....The way Eric likes to mix the brands I kinda hate to see you offer up that Toyota bumper. A Chevota???? Maybe a Toyelle???? No, PLEASE, NO!

Bob, when the old GM plant here in Fremont reopened (both my Skylarks where built there in 1965) as the NUMMI plant (New United Motors blaa blaa blaa) they were building a "GEO". Which was a Toyota Corolla with Chevy GEO emblems on it.
Around here they were known as "Toylets" (read that "Toilets") smile.gif

just curious as to what handles you're talking about......

I have a few late model Caddy Deville handles and skin sections laying about....My Malibu will eventually have door handles again LMAO

Peace

The handles would be the current handles run on pretty much all GM cars since 98. Like the Buick Century, Grand Prix, Malibu etc roughly about a 6in long oval shaped flush mounted body color handle.

I plan on installing the rear door handle on the FRONT door section, cause the rear handle has no lock cylinder making for a cleaner smoother look. Also found that power door lock actuators from 87-95? Buick LeSabre is almost a bolt-in unit for power door locks, one from a 98? to 03 ford windstar rear hatch would also work great, even better as its slimmer.

I got an overhead console from an 00 Explorer that Iam trying to mount somehow. Anyway its got dual map lights, outside inside temp, compass and something else too, had my Ford mechanic buddy re wire the thing to bypass the computer so it would work on the chevelle.

So am full of ideas and thats not even half of them, as am tired of cookie cutters smile.gif ...Eric
