I have an in dash ignition switch that I am trying to replace, it appears as if the contacts are bad in the "run position." When jiggle the key, I can get normal lights on etc.. problem is engine does not stay running. I have the new switch, but cannot separate the key portion from the lock portion - so I put the key portion in the new switch!! Help
