I've been searching all over the local Triad area here in North Cack-a-lacky and NOBODY can balance my SS wheels with a lug centric machine.:clonk: Meaning...nobody has one. Anyone around Greensboro know of a custom wheel shop that may have a lug centric adapter (commonly called a pin plate I think) for the Chevy bolt pattern? I haven't tried them yet, but would the Chevy dealer have that? I had one shop try to balance them using the center hole and it worked for about 5 miles then the sticky weights flew off. But since they used almost 7 ounces of weight, it's still wasn't balanced properly. Anyone?

Cheers

rotate the tire on the wheel and try to rebalance. Never had a problem all these years with the hammer on wegiths or the stick ons(clean surface with windex before)I have not hear of lug centric balancing, but I have heard of roadforce balancing(the put a simulated load on the tire like the car is going down the road)
