How do you change the setting on your computer so you can view pictures stored on your hard drive as thumbnails? I'm still running a Windows 98 system on an older computer. I have thousands of pictures stored and as it is now, I have run the cursor over each icon so that it generates a thumbnail image off to the side of the screen. I know there's a way to display all stored pictures as thumbnails when you open the folder, but I haven't been able to figure it out.

Randy,
Isn't it "Views" then "Thumbnails" from the Explorer Toolbar above the open folder window?
Been a while since I fooled with Win98.

Hi Randy.
In XP you click on the folder then on the toolbar click the "views" taskbar and click thumbnails. I am still trying to figure out how to keeo that as the defailt as it always reverts to details???????????????

Got it! It works for individual folders, but not for larger folders containing sub-folders. But this was what I needed. Thanks guys!
