Getting ready to paint my rebuilt engine, was wondering what's best to use? Had good result's with the VHT spray bomb before, but that was a long time ago. What's new or is there any thing new? Dave.

VHT is still a good choice, as is Plasticote.

Bill Hirsch also makes excellent paint, which may be purchased in spray bomb or quart, if you have access to spray equipment.

Good luck.

VHT works well, if you want to get extreme, the POR engine paint is really good but it takes 2 good coats for thorough coverage. I have a 355SB which was painted with POR Engine paint 10 years ago, over 50,000 on it and it still looks great without peeling, fading etc... I shampoo it every spring and that's it.
