I just welded my console brackets to my new floor pans. Now once i put the sound deadner and carpet in how do you get the front screws in to the bracket 1 on each side . The back ones goe in threw the console compartment. You can't take the top off the bolts are all on the inside. There must be a trick or something i;m missing Thanks Dirks 67 SS

I reach in the front end of the console cap end inside threads out, and put the nut on holding the cap end with a finger tip

I had to raise my front mounts up after the deadener install, no way it was going in with it.
