Ok, I did a search on the covertable conversion and relized it is probably not worth the effort. My problem is that I have finially started to tinker a little with my car and have been ripping the vinal top off. I have found a serious cancer problem under it. All along the edge in the back where the chrome was and around the back above the trunk lid is really bad. There are holes in the roof in various spots. I want to limit the amount of bondo to the least I have to use. I think that I am going to have some problems with the rear window seal also.
I would like some advice on the best route to fix this or at least get the rust out so that it won't get any worse. I don't have a lot of money to dump into it at this time. Thanks again!
