 WELL i rebuilt the front end of my chebby 10 years ago and opted for the energy suspension ploy front end kit, and while it has been ten years, its only been 8,000 miles and one of my bushings in my upper control arm comes up missing one night this summer driving home from work:mad: so heres the question....i love the way my car handled with the poly front end so is the E.S. kit just a pile and if so who makes a good poly kit or should i go with the stock rubber bushings, did i mention im not looking forward to rebuilding the front end so soon:o

PST (http://www.p-s-t.com/), I have great luck with their stuff. Graphite impregnated polyurethane, its just sounds cool too.

I've been using them for some time now and a few will come back worn I think it must be a grease problem since they are putting fittings on them in places that had none before.
I started using slick 50 wheel bearing grease when assembling them and have no more problems.

One of my stock rubber ones popped out recently after only 3 years (10,000 miles). So don't think they will necessarily be the answer to your problem.

I like the stock rubber bushings. I find it hard to tell the difference, and not worth the headaches (Grease this / oil that). Unless you are really into racing and special handling needs, it is common for rubber to last 100,000 miles with out maintenance (yes, not always but more the rule then the exception).

I have had energy uppers wear out after about 25k miles,I think its because of not useing enough grease when installing them, the kit doesnt include enough.I personally dont like the PST because they are softer and can squeeze out under hard driving conditions.Maybe try the del-a-lum bushings that use greaseable fittings?

I have the Global West arms with the del-a-lum bushings. To tell you the truth, it is hard to tell the difference between stock and the Global West arms.

I had a PST poly bushing on my upper control arm fall out a while back also. I dont know why or where it fell of. Luckily I noticed it in the garage before I drove it the next time. I know I had them tight.
