I have a 1967 with a 327. I am in the process of changing from manual to power steering. I have the box in and I am wondering how I can make sure I have the correct pitman arm. The pitman arm that was given to me (I am told from the steering box rebuilder) is a little bit longer. I gave a quick test fit (I have my entire suspension off (replacing with all new) and it looked as if it was going to hit the cross member. I also am hunting for the second bracket (I have the one that's attached to the engine mount). Any help on this one?
