Where are you guys having the best exposure selling a car without having to pay too much for the add? And is this a good time of year to sell a car or should I wait until next spring? And what kind of price would you ask? Ive got a '72 ss 454.
It started life as an SS 350 and had a 454 put in it.
It is a total frame off sanded and painted interior sanded and painted even floors and behind dash a completely restored car. Everything is perfect. Paint is now about 4 years old and has always been under a cover. Interior is perfect with about a 2k stereo with a carpeted trunk as well (could easily be back to stock). Its the white car in my signature.
Thxs for the input. Paul.

It's 100% Free here when use the FREE CLASSIFIEDS, not the Forums... Craigs List is Free too. Time?? It's never a bad time IMO, you just never know when someone is looking for the car you are selling!

I agree with Mike on timing. You just gotta find the ass for the seat. You never know when that will be.

that give me a great idea for an add.

Sounds more like a proposition than an ad.

If you price it correctly, it should sell most anytime. If you price it high, it probably won't sell no matter what time it is.

If you follow the supply demand theory. Than I would look to pay LESS in the winter as the demand isn't as high, storage costs, lack of use, etc. As a seller I would tend to list late spring as there are a great deal more potential buyers in the market as everyone jumps on the classic car bandwagon for the summer driving season. Totally agree with 13679ss....I am a potential buyer at this moment...and agree that I might get a better deal now from a "motivated" seller than in the spring/summer.
