NOT AN AD, just looking for opinions!!!

A friend of a friend's uncle turned me on to a load of 67 parts. Wondering what I should offer. I believe he's looking for about 500.

All 67:

Dash with regular Speedo cluster
A/C Dash with regular speedo cluster and a/c controls
dash pad nice shape
Bumper to grille filler
driver quality armrest bases, headlight extensions, and headlight bezels
2 Rallye wheels 7 inch unknown year
2 empty door shells no rust no dents straight
front drum brake assemblies R&L
used GM Fender no dents no signs of repair or rust looks straight
A/C what-ya-ma-call-it that mounts to the firewall (the box and the thingy in it)
GM SS hood, great shape, super straight, professionally done at body shop, primed and ready for paint. (Shop repaired hood pin holes, nice job)

$500 is an good deal for the hood alone if its an original ss hood

Price sounds fair to me. But some of it really isnt worth big bucks such as the drum brake assemblies. But that hood would be a nice item to hang on to if you have a 67.

Rob,
Some of that stuff is worth some good money, but you have to find the right person that needs it. Are you just going to turn it around?

I can use the hood, A/C dash, and Door shells. Everything else I was going to try and flip to offset the costs.

Rob, just do a search on the Bay and deduct 10-15% for local sale. you'll likely recoupe your investment and get the parts you used for free if you pay 500 for the lot. Some of that stuff you probably won't be able to give away though.

Go with cash, negotiate and take it all ASAP before someone else does. You won't go wrong at $500, or less.

I'm not sure if you were trying to be funny or not. I do have an idea on what its worth but I thought I throw it out and "discuss" it with my favorite Chevelle guys.

The dashes are not worth as much as people generally think. I've had 2 for sale over the years, one went for 20 and I still have the other:( .

i was just playing,i quoted the approxamate values under that post. i part out 67s all the time and thats around what i got for the stuff. lately parts prices are a little softer but good parts cars are no longer available so good parts wont depreciate. dashes are making a comeback because of radio hacking and the a/c dashes always move. cool blue on blue 67 malibu ragtop.
