I put on my front fenders , but when the hood closes there is contact along the entire hood - both sides. I am going to try spacers on the bolts behind the door - but will that not cause the bolt on the upper inner fender to not go in?

Any help would be appreciated.

All the bolt holes on the fender are made extra large to allow for a good deal of adjustment. Make sure to use bolts with large fender washers to bridge the gap of those large holes. All the bolts (the originals anyway) are long enough to allow a fair amount of adjustment at other bolt locations.
