My name is Eric, and I am an avid car enthusiast.Resently around here ,in Crossville,Tenn.,more and more people are building street cars and driving them to the track on 92 or higher octane race fuel, and then switching them over to Alcohol at the track.Or,injecting Alcohol into the engine by using a Nitrous solonoid and a small jet plumed into the intake or intake charge.I know the good and bad points of Alcohol, and this probably isn't legal at a santioned event. I have heared that this is an old scool trick to pick up that little bit of E.T.,I was wondering what you all thought.
With the price of 92 still at 2.50 a gal. and 110 at 5.00 a gal.,Alcohol at 1.88, this doesn't seem like a bad idea.
