I ran across this on ebay and am curious, I have a owned a few 64SS's and have currently owned the present one for 18 yrs. I have always thought the SS mouldings went along the body lines and curved downward at the rear. And that the straight, centered moulding was the base Chevelle. http://cgi.aol.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2446705437&category=6164
Thanks,

NO, the VIN displayed is not for an SS, it has to be 457 or 458 in the first three places for it to be an SS. It is probably a Malibu, you could get that moulding on a Malibu too.

The 4563TA was a one of a kind build just for sale on EBAY.
It was like a 45637 2dr Malibu but for a couple "SS" badges.
They are better known as a OPG SpL.
The original owner orderd it with GEN/OIL lights, He /She did not want the guages.
They don't reproduce all the SS trim so it was orderd DELETE
