Hello from the Seattle, I'm just a guy who was to poor to pay a mechanic in High School & came from a racing lineage. My God Father is Bobby Unser. Hence my first car was a 1970 Malibu SS, where I discovered my NEED for speed. I didn't limit myself to 4 wheels though, 2 days out of the Army in 1981 I lucked into a KZ900 & its been hull down & damn the torpedo's ever since. 1 of my first memories is my dads 64 Chevelle that he ordered from the factory "with" the kitchen sink in it...well back to the memory, I was riding shotgun in his Chevelle near Old Ft. Smith, Montana (no speed limit in Montana) & trying to talk him out of taking me to the hospital (I was bleeding out of both knees). Anyway he had the speedometer buried & we both started laughing when he got air over the top of a little hill. After my little brother was born he traded that 5 year old Chevelle to a car dealer in Billings, Montana-----> Straight accross for a new Olds station wagon. The dealer kept the Chevelle for his own ride. My old man got the worst of that deal...lol

Welcome. Unfortunately when your Dad traded the Chevelle he had no idea they would be worth whet they are today. He probably felt he needed a wagon and could always get another Chevelle. :clonk: Boy, were we ever wrong on that one :D
