I'd pay $15K for it sight unseen. :)

If that is the case, what do you suppose the hood on my 56 is worth with Dale Sr's autograph on it?

By the way, that was Zac back then.
Here is Dad and Zac now (that's where DZAUTOmotive came from).

Ebay ad:

Mint Monte Calro. Only hit the wall once, but it was Dale Jr, and he is OK. We said some prayers that he would make it and luckily he was able to walk away. He must have hit his head pretty hard, because he has some red marks on his face, but after a few minutes they seem to be fading.

Also included is a complete collection of the bugs he killed while driving in this car. He has signed each one and they are now laminated for protection.

The steering wheel has been removed and will be sold at a separate auction snce he touched it the most. The driver's seat will be also listed in a separate auction beacuse it has his ass smell. So far the highest bidder on that is username "JEFFG24".

I like Dale, and this was all just poking fun at how many crazed NASCAR fans there are, and how the collectable business has pretty much gone bonkers since about 2000.

You'll never regret getting your kids turned onto old cars. They get into a circle of "good influence" people and won't have any spare money to get into trouble. Worked for us. Our son Dave has a 454 powered '69 Chevelle and a 38K mile 1965 Acadian Canso survivor. Looks like Tom sure got off on the right foot with Zac.
