I'd stay away from using the puller on it, because it is right near an area that doesn't have much support, unless your inner fender is metal (mine is plastic). I'd see what I could do with the body hammer first. Others may say different though.

try a j hook the a uni spotter it welds little studs to quarter then use the slide hammer . this way you have no holes.

I think im calling this fender quits, I used a pulled and made some holes and grinded away the paint and about 12 LBS of bondo, who knows how far back this goes, and if im taking this thing to metal before i paint in a couple months I dont think this fender is going to be any good, maybe ill call it quits and get a new one?

Wow. Ok I took down more paint and bondo around the area I wasnt optimistic enough! I welded on some little screws to the tips of a little bondo slam back puller and took out all the area, it looks darn good. And I figure a "non-bondo" car is going to have to have SOME filler. Im back in the game, no $300 for a fender smile.gif I'll post some photos of my work let me know what you fellas think :D

I dont know what the past owner was thinking! To glob bondo in a deep dent that was easy to pull out, well not easy but it wasnt too difficult with a MIG and patience. Then just paint over it, and the dent showed through REAL bad, I didnt even suck that bad at body work when I was 17 and I had no clue what I was doing smile.gif Anyways its underway, a couple more dings here and there then some really light putty, prime and prep, not too bad. Progress?
