I need some info on putting a kickdown cable on a th350. I know I need to pull the pan to do it, I need to pull the pan anyway to service the trans. Also need help on adjusting the cable since it is a b&m universal th350 kickdown cable.

You don't have to pull the pan but it's not easy if the trans is in the car. You can grasp the tab in the trans that the kickdown cable wire connects to with needlenose pliers and pull it up enough to attach. BTDT.

Make sure you disconnect the cable from the carb before you hook it up to the trans. Also you do not need to drop the pan to do it.

I have done it in the car a couple times it sucks.Headers can make it worse

Found out about the headers tonight. I will remove them when I go to do it.

They need paint anyway.
