I'm ready to POR the underbody. How clean of surface rust does it have to be??
I'm using a wire cup on a 4 1/2" grinder.
Will the wire cup make it too smooth for the POR to adhere?
The body is on jackstands bout 2' off the ground...I'm really not looking forward to this
thanks Chris

just use POR-15 "metal clean" then "metal ready", that will etch and prepare the surface for good bonding.

Wash that metal ready OFF real good.If you don't it will leave a power on the metal and the POR won't stick.I PORed my frame and didn't get all that power off and now anywhere theres a scratch i can just peel the POR right off.It didn't stick at all.
So clean it off good after you put that metal ready on.It etches the metal,so scrub all of the residue off.
